"If you use the feeling and love to run your sales and business, then you will create loyalty along the grounds. And I promise you will build up relationships and enjoy a company that exceeds your most anticipated expectations "
First of all, before you decide to start your cleaners, make sure that this kind of work is right for you. You must be in good physical condition. Cleaning is a very difficult concrete work. You must have good goodwill skills. You must have basic training and some records in accounting.
If you are going to full time to start a cleaner, make sure you have at least six months of savings. Or do a full-time job and get part-time.
Investigate all aspects of the service. From customer service to advertising, taxes, employees, insurance and bonds, what to charge and how to clean a home professionally. Cleaning your own home and cleaning professional is totally different. Learn how to clean a professional takes a lot of time. When a customer pays for your services, they expect to come home and enjoy their homes.
Getting first customers takes time, perseverance and patience. You will not get one hundred customers overnight.
Getting the First Customers The most difficult part of starting your own cleaning service is getting first customers. Most customers will know how long you have been in business and want references. The best thing you need to do is let customers know yes, you're new to business, but you've thoroughly reviewed all the sides of the cleaner and make sure you know what you're doing and you're unable to clear them home to their information. Be confident. I can not stress this enough. Customers love to see confidence. It relieves their concerns and lets them know that their homes are in good hands.
References: To get some good references when you start, ask a few friends or family members if you can clean their homes for free or at a discount. The sound of working for free can not be attractive, but it's worth getting good stories.
When cleaning your first home, go to quality, no matter how fast you can clean your home. Cleaning takes a long time, but you will find that you can do thorough cleaning in a short period of time. After cleaning, be sure to return and double check all rooms to make sure you have not missed anything. Show first customers and words in the mouth will spread soon.
Advertising Your company is all. Before you start advertising, decide which photo you want to show on your ad gallery. Your picture is very important. Be consistent with all your ads. If you have a tag, be sure to use it on all your ads. I think it's best to have a website developed before you start advertising. When you advertise, keep the same logos and colors.
Advertise Local Paper: Start by running a text ad in your newspaper. Try to prevent eye catching advertisement. Do not sell your services at low prices, sell your services on quality work and what you can do for the customer that other companies do not. There is a lot of competition in the cleaning. You have to stand out from the rest.
Magnetic Signs or Fonts for Your Vehicle: Having your company name and information about your vehicle is a great way to advertise. We use the vinyl fonts. The book looks much better than the magnetic labels.
Flyers: You can print nice flyers on your computer, but I recommend investing in some professional aircraft. Hang a flight on Hairdressers, Laundromats, Restaurants, Bakery, Grocery, etc. Put airplanes on a car window at local food stores and businesses. You can even go to the door in the neighborhoods you want to work in. You can not put them in a mailbox. but you can put them in the front door.
By Hangers: Hangers are a great way to get new customers. Select the neighborhood you want to work in and hang the door on the doors. When people get a pilot or advertisements in their mailbox, they usually throw them in junk mail. But if it's the door on the door then they take the time to look at it.
Business Cards: Start releasing your business cards for friends and family. You can also ask for your business if you can leave a few cards on the tables.
Reference Plan: Great way to get new customers has a reference plan. Offer current customers a discount when referring to a friend. You can discount your customers when a friend uses the service three times.
Website: These days, people live a very busy life so they use the internet to shop for the services they need. Many working women will shop for services while at work. Everyone who has a business should have a website. It shows customers that you are serious about your business and allow them to investigate your business at the time.
Cleaning Products: Using all natural products, you can offer your customers a clean cleaning experience and protect us from strong chemicals. Customers love natural cleaners with essential oils. They come home to a healthy clean home filled with a wonderful aroma of aromatic essential oils.
Tip: Always use detergents and wash your hands frequently while cleaning your home. Use gloves when cleaning the bathrooms. You will be affected by many different bacteria in homes.
Remember that most customers prefer to have your own cleaners. Thus, they do not have to worry about going to the store to clear supplies before cleaning. Some customers have special cleaners for certain appliances or floors in their houses. These customers will usually have these cleaners on hand to use. We almost always use a vacuum cleaner. Thus, you do not have to carry much vacuum from house to house.
What to charge I mentioned before that you should sell your service on quality work and not your low rate. If your interest rates are too low, customers will think your work is inadequate and you are not experiencing. Also, you want to attract customers who can afford your services. I made a mistake of pricing my job too low when I first started. Cleaning is a lot of work, charge what you are worth. As the old saying says, "You get what you pay for."
Some companies charge for an hour, some cost of the living room, some pay residential costs at home and some cost to the square. I think it's better to charge at home, not after an hour. If a customer knows they have to pay a single fee, it does not matter if you take 2 hours or 5 hours. Also, your customers will know what they pay in advance and do not have to worry about increased costs.
No two houses are the same. And there is no set fee for all homes. You have to clean for a moment yourself to gain experience and work out the system to efficiently clean. Only you know what you want and need to do. Decide what you need to do every hour to cover all costs and make a good profit.
Advisors: Make sure when you start your business that you decide what you would charge if you own employees. Some people make a mistake of charging when they just start to get customers and then later when they grow and need help, they are not making enough money in their homes to pay help. Not under your work. Cleaning homes are very hard physical work and you did not get into this business to work for anything.
New Construction Cleaning If you decide to do this kind of work, you will need more equipment. You need stairs, long-range window cleaning equipment, shopping centers, etc. These types of jobs are usually 2 to 3 person jobs. New building cleaning requires much more cleaning. You may need to remove stickers and labels from windows and bathroom showers, sinks and toilets. Some require that you clean the air to remove dust from the workplace. There will be ceiling fans to clean, scrubbing floors, and clean woodwork to remove dust. New building cleaning depends on the area in which you live.
Insurance and bonds. You need to be an honest man and quite private. People must trust you in their homes. Most customers are worried about having a new one in their house with good reason. You should be bound and fully insured. The insurance amount depends on your insurance company and where you are located. Each person you hire will increase your liability insurance. It is well worth the cost. You can pay quarterly or annually. You can buy your bonds through your insurance company. You must renew bonds each year. * Note: If you hire employees and cover them under your insurance, they must be an employee and not a subcontractor. If you use them as a subcontractor, you do not guarantee your insurance. If they are subcontractors, they must carry their own insurance. You
Consulting Help If you start cleaning your household yourself, you will always have to reach the level you need to expand your business. Begin with one part-time employee. Read it and let it take your place one day a week. Take it then 2 days a week and so on. This will give you the free time you need to market your business and get more customers. After you get more customers, you must be able to handle more part-time work. Sometimes you will be able to stop doing the cleaning yourself and just run the business end, which is the only way you will be able to grow your business. When you train new employees, you train yourself or have a coach coach train them. Make sure that it is a leading person in every cleaning work. Employees tend to relax when they are on their own.
Growing Your Business You will always get to the point where you have enough employees and lead people and you will be able to stop working on your business and start running your business. You'll find that after a while it will be too much to try to clean every day and at the same time give food, answer calls, schedule, book, get new customers, etc.
Remember one of the most important cleaning services is TRUST. Customer needs to know that they can trust you alone in your home. After you get a few cleaning positions, ask customers if you can use them as a reference. Most of the time they are more than willing to let you use them for reference. Thus, you are building your business and acquiring new customers by reference. Be reliable. Most customers will want to be installed every week or another week plan on the same day of the week. Always try to keep the same plan without the customer wishing to switch to another day. If you need to cancel your cleansing date, make sure you try to reschedule as soon as possible to make up for the cleanup.
